Meet Remy the Reindeer Rattle by Nana Huchy, a happy-go-lucky character with a mountain tale to share. In his whimsical backstory, Remy comes from Norway, where he enjoys roaming the mountains and nibbling on lichen and reindeer moss.
His cheerful personality brings a little storytelling to everyday play, while the rattle sound responds to movement. As little ones move the toy and hear its sound, they have an opportunity to explore the connection between an action and what happens next.
This simple cause-and-effect play gives parents and carers something to enjoy together with their child. Gently move Remy, pause to listen and follow your little one’s response. Repeat the movement or introduce a familiar song, letting their interest guide the interaction.
Remy’s reindeer character also offers inspiration for imaginative adventures as children grow. Tell a story about his Norwegian mountain home, imagine what he might discover on a walk or introduce him to other favourite animal toys.
For gifting, pair Remy the Reindeer Rattle with an animal picture book or a handwritten welcome message. His woodland character makes him a charming addition to a thoughtfully assembled hamper, with a playful sound to discover and a personality that gives families a starting point for stories of their own.
